Winn Solicitors’ PA Wins Prestigious Award
Congratulations are in order for Winn Solicitors’ Janet McCrindle, who won the Best Event Organiser at the Executive PA Magazine Awards in London. Janet, from Gosforth, has worked as PA to Managing Director Jeff Winn for seven years.
Janet was shortlisted for Event Organiser Award after being nominated for her role in organising the Winn Solicitors Summer Party, which was attended by hundreds of people. The shortlist for the award also included PAs from other prestigious organisations, including The Discovery Channel and Britvic Soft Drinks.
The Executive PA Magazine Awards took place at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall, London on 14th October 2015, where Janet was awarded the title of Best Event Organiser. The judging panel was impressed by the quality and size of summer party, and Janet’s ability to improvise despite terrible weather conditions on the day, which caused problems with the marquee.
Janet, who regularly organises a range of events for Jeff Winn and the management team, was delighted to be crowned winner: “I’m very touched to have won this award, as the calibre of nominees in the shortlist was very high. Organising events is a big part of my day-today job, so it’s fantastic to gain special recognition for my work.”
Managing Director Jeff Winn added “Janet has been my PA for seven years and is fantastic in the role – she is an integral part of the company. Over the years she has successfully managed many projects, but the summer party has been one of her biggest and greatest accomplishments to date, by far. The event was the first of its kind for the firm, and Janet has certainly set the bar for future events. It was a fabulous evening that all of the guests enjoyed thoroughly. Congratulations on winning this prestigious award, Janet – it’s a testament to your hard work!”
