Vision RT sees the future with Adapt Habitat
Vision RT, a provider of superior solutions for the image guided radiotherapy market, has replaced its in-house IT infrastructure with an outsourced private cloud solution from Adapt to deliver a fully managed deployment for over 90 users worldwide.
As the business has grown, Vision RT identified the need to improve a range of key IT functions, including server reliability, storage, backup and security. It chose Adapt’s agile software-defined cloud ecosystem - the Habitat - to improve performance for users in areas such as collaboration, while also delivering better protection for sensitive data.
Vision RT chose Adapt as they wanted a long-term partnership with a provider that has experience within the medical field, as well as the relevant compliance qualifications for handling sensitive data. It was also important to Vision RT to work with a service provider with a strong reputation for good practise and sensitivity.
The Habitat is a first-to-market application-hosting ecosystem that dynamically aligns IT budgets and business requirements to provide customers with agile and efficient infrastructure. The Habitat makes enterprise-grade services commercially accessible and offers choice and flexibility.
Though outsourcing its IT, Vision RT is now benefitting from improved resources and service management. Andrew Scott, IT Manager at Vision RT commented “Working with Adapt has provided us with the security and agility to continue our business growth and innovation without concern for our IT infrastructure. We look forward to a long and healthy partnership”.
Scotty Morgan, Chief Sales Officer at Adapt said: “We are delighted to be part of Vision RT’s exciting future. The Habitat has taken the worry out of IT for Vision RT, allowing them to focus on what they do best – continually innovate - and win in their market, safe in the knowledge that their data is secure and the infrastructure meets their demands”.
