Engine supplier James Troop transforms Runcorn HQ with £100k investment
James Troop & Co, a supplier of engines and generators, has made a six-figure investment in its Merseyside base to boost operational efficiency and expand in its existing markets.
The firm ploughed £100k into transforming its onsite customer facility in Runcorn with the aim of securing increased trade with the industrial, agricultural and maritime sectors.
James Troop’s managing director, Bob Troop, said the investment improved onsite branding and livery with new paintwork, signage and an extension of its car park.
He said: “It is vitally important that we continue to communicate our progressive outlook we have as a thrusting, dynamic, global firm.
“This recent investment helps set the right tone for our visitors and demonstrates the pride we have in our business.”
Speaking further, Bob said another key motivator for the investment was the ambition to secure more traffic at its trade counter.
Established in 1867 by Bob’s great great grandfather, James Troop, the firm originally operated from a base at Liverpool’s Dock Estate but moved to its current headquarters on the Astmoor Industrial Estate in 2004.
