Young Entrepreneur Wins Investment For Innovative Online Product
One of the region’s leading young female entrepreneurs has won a major investment for an innovative on-line product that she has been developing for four years.
The Managing Director of award winning High Performance Consultancy Victoria Brown, 34, has created oneHR - a web based HR management solution that supports employees and employers.
Ms Brown started her first business when she was just 17, sold a hair and beauty salon in 2013, and has taken her outsourced HR Company, High Performance Consultancy, to a £1 million plus turnover in less than eight years.
She has now secured a half a million pound investment into her new business, with Manchester entrepreneur Mike Askew backing her latest venture.
The funding boost will accelerate product development, help recruitment and allow it to expand.
Mr Askew, who has been appointed to the OneHR board, said: “oneHR is a great example of how smart technology can help businesses of all sizes become more efficient. I have been incredibly impressed with Victoria and what she has achieved so far. I very much look forward to helping her drive the expansion of this exciting new product.”
Ms Brown commented: “oneHR is designed specifically as a low cost solution to streamlining HR administration for small and medium sized enterprises. The initial response from users has been overwhelmingly positive and I am confident that this significant investment, along with Mike’s experience and expertise, the company can meet its growth ambitions over the next three years.”
