Young Professionals Set up Networking Group
Three young professionals have joined together to create a networking group to support and help encourage young people to meet new people and extend their network.
The group, named YPFridays (Young Professionals Fridays) has been created to encourage young professionals, helping future business owners and entrepreneurs to connect, broaden their network and develop their skills.
The YPFridays networking group has been created by three up-and-coming young professionals; Ross Thornton of Walker Singleton, Gavin Mcleod of SCM Rooftech and Nicola Mellor of Pepamint.
Ross commented “We noticed the need for a networking group when we started attending networking events. There isn’t many younger people at these types of events and felt that there was an opportunity to encourage them to develop their confidence. We are really looking forward to starting the group and hope it becomes a real success!”
The networking meetings will be held in Huddersfield town centre in various locations on the last Friday of each month from 12pm.
The first meeting will be held at Rhubarb on Friday the 29th January 2016 from 12pm onwards.
