Sovini Property Services wins place on £1.2m framework
Sovini Property Services, part of the Sovini Group, has been appointed to a framework worth £1.2m adapting homes for disabled tenants by Blackpool Borough Council.
The framework – which is administered by Blackpool Coastal Housing - includes the installation of level access showers and other adaptions to allow disabled residents to live independently in their homes.
Approximately 300 adaptations will be carried out during the two-year scheme which begins in April.
Sovini Property Services provides comprehensive repairs, maintenance and facilities management services to their partners One Vision Housing and Pine Court Housing Association, as well as a number of other businesses outside of the Sovini Group in the North West.
The company launched in 2010 and has seen its turnover increase from £8m to £20m within that time, as well recruiting over 200 staff.
Phil Pemberton, Managing Director of Sovini Property Services, said: “We’re thrilled to have been selected for this framework, especially after undergoing such a rigorous selection process.
“What makes this success even more significant is that the decision was made based on the price and quality that candidates could offer – something we pride ourselves on as a business.
“Our selection proves how far we’ve come in our five years of business, and we look forward to working with the council to develop our brand and reputation on such an important and fulfilling project.”
As part of the Sovini Group, capacity generated by Sovini Property Services is reinvested in the group’s not-for-profit social housing partners – One Vision Housing and Pine Court Housing Association - supporting their investment in new homes and developing local communities.
