Manchester IT firm Gekko reports triple-digit growth
IT consultancy Gekko is celebrating after 2015 saw its turnover skyrocket year on year by 300%.
The Manchester-based firm’s turnover rose to just under £1m as it signed new contracts with a string of North West firms, including lighting wholesaler LSE Retail Group and property management business urbanbubble.
Kristian Burrill, the firm’s co-founder and director, said: “We believe that technology should be simple and accessible, improving the way all businesses communicate and function.”
“Gekko is about being curious. We want to have a partnership with our clients that go beyond expectations.”
The company was formerly known as IT Sourced but rebranded in May 2015.
Kristian continued: “The highlight really has been the rebrand and move to our amazing new office. 2015 saw us evolve into the business we’re striving to be and create a space that reflects the business too.”
