Property advisor firm becomes first to span all London boroughs
Global property advisor CBRE has announced the creation of a new London Development team that will encompass all commercial, residential and mixed use land and development activity right across the capital.
The team, which has been created after a restructuring of its central London and South East land development teams, will be the only firm that currently advises investors, developers and landowners spread across all 33 London boroughs.
Operations will be dispersed between four separate offices in the West End, Midtown, City and Canary Wharf.
The move comes at a boom time for London’s property market, with total property deals expected to surpass £5bn in 2015.
Speaking after the restructuring, Peter Burns, Managing Director of CBRE London Development said: “Our decision to give the development team a truly cross-London focus is rooted in our understanding and knowledge of the range of fantastic opportunities that exist both within and beyond the core.
“Our structure will help our clients navigate the rapidly changing dynamics of the whole London market with its varied market dynamics, local authority priorities and differing impacts of new transport and infrastructure projects.
“We have brought together our combined in-depth experience and expertise across all use classes and geographies which the many specialists in our London Development team are geared up to deliver.”
