Home Bargains to launch 14,000 sq ft Trafford store
Home Bargains, the Liverpool-based discount chain, is set to launch a new store at White City Retail Park in Trafford.
The company has signed up for a 14,140 sq ft unit on a 15-year lease at the park, which is run by developer Derwent Group.
James Maule-Ffinch, the group’s senior asset manager, said: “Home Bargains is a welcome addition to White City’s tenant mix.
“The refurbishment work we’ve undertaken is paying real dividends and some really exciting retailers are already in negotiations for the last remaining units at the Park.”
The news of Home Bargains’ expansion at White City follows a £10m revamp of the 210,570 sq ft retail hub carried out by Derwent Group.
Existing occupants at the site, located on Chester Road, include retailers Halfords, Currys, SCS and Dreams. Derwent has confirmed it is now in negotiations with other potential tenants.
