Huddersfield Visualisation firm design 3D images for Umbro
Visualisation Design firm, Ard Digital have completed a project for the worldwide sportswear and football brand, Umbro.
The Huddersfield based firm were appointed by Umbro to produce twelve eloquently designed 3D trophies in early January. The brief of the project was to produce 1 large cup, 2 “light bulb” cups and 9 small cups with a stylised polygon design for the sports brand’s awards ceremony in Germany.
Following completion of the designs, the trophies were printed using a 3D printer, which is a much quicker process than the traditional method of producing trophies, taking between just 1 and 6 hours to produce per unit.
Dean Punchard, Director of Ard commented, “We thoroughly enjoyed working on this project with Umbro, I always enjoy seeing the end product and how efficient 3D printing can be.”
The trophies will be presented to international amateur footballers at the Umbro award ceremony.
