Zara owner bringing three new brands to Trafford Centre
Global fashion retailer Inditex is investing in the Trafford Centre by expanding one of its existing stores and bringing several other new brands to the complex.
The Spanish firm has announced plans to establish fashion chains Pull & Bear and Stradivarius, along with houseware brand Zara Home, at the intu shopping hub.
Further, Inditex intends to expand the premises of its 32,000 sq ft flagship Zara store at the Trafford Centre, relocating the shop from Regent Crescent to a two-storey unit on Peel Avenue.
The move will create two new 5,000 sq ft units for Stradivarius and Pull & Bear, while Zara Home will occupy a 9,084 sq ft unit near Selfridges, Hugo Boss and Victoria’s Secret.
intu’s asset management director, Julian Wilkinson, said: “intu Trafford Centre has always been home to the best retailers and we’re thrilled to be working with Inditex to debut more of their popular brands to enhance the group’s presence in the UK.
“These new additions, plus the flagship Zara store, will enrich intu Trafford Centre’s vibrant fashion-led offer, and give our customers at least four new reasons to visit us more often.”
