Rossendale firm Optic Pine delivers 25-bed care home expansion
A Lancashire care home has expanded its premises in Crawshawbooth, near Rawtenstall, to boost its physical disability services.
The operator of Crawshaw Hall Medical Centre and Nursing Home, Crawshaw Hall Healthcare Ltd, called on building contractor Optic Pine to add a new floor and side extension to the facility.
Optic Pine, which is based in Rossendale and owned by Crawshaw Hall, also reconfigured all floors at the centre and carried out landscaping work.
As part of the project, 25 new rooms were added to the care home’s offer.
Crawshaw Hall Healthcare director Marc Karoo said: “We recognised a growing demand for larger bedrooms, en-suite facilities and a greater emphasis on available technology to clients and their loved ones and felt this substantial extension and complete renovation would meet the needs of the community we serve for many years to come.”
To fund the expansion Marc turned to Gary Swift, a NatWest relationship director who specialises in supporting healthcare sector businesses.
Gary commented: “I was delighted to support the extension project at Crawshaw Hall Medical Centre and Nursing Home which has been providing outstanding service for nearly 30 years.
“It’s an exciting time for the team at the home and the residents, and I wish them every success for the future.”
