Evonprint raises over £1,000 with charity calendar
Sussex based print, design and marketing specialist Evonprint is delighted to announce the final figure raised from its recent Love Sussex charity calendar.
The calendar came from a competition run by Evonprint which called out to budding local photographers to submit images of outstanding Sussex scenery. The final selection of images featured many spectacular sights of Sussex, including Chichester Cathedral, Petworth Deer Park, St Leonards Beach and Tilgate Park.
The calendar proved to be very popular and raised a fabulous £1,012 in total for Chestnut Tree House, the only children’s hospice in East and West Sussex.
The much needed funds raised from the sale of the calendars will go towards funding the vital specialist palliative care services that Chestnut Tree House provides to 300 children and young people with life-shortening and life-threatening illnesses in East Sussex, West Sussex and South East Hampshire.
Steve Rowland, Managing Director of Evonprint, commented:
“Our Love Sussex competition and resulting calendar proved incredibly popular with local budding photographers and the local communities respectively, who have shown great support through fantastic entries and sales. The calendar showcased what a beautiful county Sussex is and has been a resounding success, having raised £1,012 for this extremely worthy local charity.”
Janet Parsons, Head of Communications at Chestnut Tree House, added:
“The Love Sussex calendar from Evonprint’s competition flew off the shelves in our charity shops and we’re so grateful for the funds that the sales have raised for Chestnut Tree House. The money will go directly towards providing care for children and young people, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes across East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire. We would like to say a huge thank you to Evonprint and the local community for all their support.”
