Stockport-based GP Strategies expands with London acquisition
North West training provider GP Strategies Training Limited has snapped up London-based JenCal Training, along with its subsidiary, B2B Engage.
The Stockport-headquartered firm, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of US-based GP Strategies Corporation, made the acquisitions for an undisclosed sum.
JenCal Training is an apprenticeship training agency, while B2B Engage is a learning provider with offices in Berkshire and Greenwich.
GP Strategies’ CEO, Scott Greenberg, said: “This acquisition further expands our capabilities, helping people and businesses to access the skills training they need to succeed. It strengthens our position as a major provider of skills training in the UK.”
The Manchester office of law firm Hill Dickinson represented GP Strategies during the transaction, while the corporate finance advice was provided by accountants DTE.
Stephen Moorcroft, a corporate finance executive at DTE, commented: “We are delighted to have worked with GP on identifying and advising on the acquisition of JenCal.
“The purchase further allows GP to meet its strategy and expand its operational capabilities in London and the South East.”
