Everton announce new board members
Everton FC have announced that Robert Elstone and Alexander Ryazantsev now sit on the board of directors.
Robert has been with the club for over a decade, joining in 2005 as deputy chief executive from accountancy firm Deloitte, before which he worked for four years at telecommunications firm BSkyB.
In 2009, Robert became Everton’s chief executive.
Alexander, meanwhile, has previously worked with Farhad Moshiri, the British Iranian billionaire who recently snapped up a 49.9% stake in the club in a deal reportedly worth close to £200m.
With a background in corporate finance, Alexander has held management positions with the Royal Bank of Scotland and Amsterdam-headquartered ABN AMRO Bank.
The changes follow a new deal signed last month that saw Wiltshire-based manufacturer Avon Tyres become the Blues’ official tyre partner at Goodison Park.
