Decade of design for Warrington based DV8 Designs
A leading Warrington based architecture and interior design firm DV8 Designs is celebrating a decade in business.
Over the past ten years, managing director Lee Birchall and his team of seven staff have built up an expansive portfolio, spanning an eclectic range of residential and commercial projects across the North West and beyond.
Lee said: “As a managing director, it is so rewarding to raise a toast to ten successful years in business. The team and I have been incredibly lucky to work on such a wide scale of exciting projects with budgets ranging from £20,000 to £35 million, and it fills us with pride to reflect on all of our achievements and showcase the top ten most memorable.“
To celebrate the notable business milestone, the firm based within Birchwood Park have put together a top ten list of diverse projects, which include The Old Blind School (Liverpool), Beef and Pudding (Manchester), Bridgend Leisure Centre (Bridgend), Waveney Sports & Leisure Centre (Lowestoft), Gulliver’s Hotel & Leisure Park (Warrington), Mercedes Petronas (Brackley), Newmarket Racecourse (Newmarket), Jolly Thresher (Lymm), Ring O Bells (Christleton) and Beer Studio (Fallowfield).
Lee added: “While it was certainly difficult to whittle down, the top ten projects include the likes of The Old Blind School, which was an already iconic structure in Liverpool, making it exciting for us to work on a Grade II listed building with such history and character. Another highlight was our challenging brief to work on Beef and Pudding, as the team were required to locally source all of the furniture and rework existing elements. Our work on Gulliver’s Hotel & Leisure Park fulfilled a long-time dream of mine to work on a theme park, while our work at Newmarket Racecourse showed me that DV8 Designs has no limitations for a job!
“Perhaps the most rewarding part of my role is when customers return to us again, for example, New Moon Company or Jolly Thresher in Lymm. The team and I would like to thank all of those who have supported us since 2006 and we look forward to many more prolific years in business.“
