11,000 Huddersfield Town fans have joined the #WagnerRevolution
Over 11,000 Huddersfield Town fans have joined the #WagnerRevolution by purchasing a 2016/17 Season Card.
The landmark was reached at 5pm on Monday 21 March 2016, just four days after they went on sale at the John Smith’s Stadium Ticket Office, via phone and online at htafc.com.
The Club launched its special discounted ticket deal for the initial 10,000 fans, with prices set at just £179 for adults, £69 for 8-17 year-olds and £23 for Under-8s.
Now Chairman Dean Hoyle has confirmed that a further 4,000 Town fans have the chance to buy at the same prices.
“I’ve been absolutely blown away by the speed at which we have sold the first 11,000 Season Cards at the discounted prices,” Dean admitted.
“The speed of sales is a record for the Club; unprecedented, even for the £100 Centenary offer back in 2008.
“It’s been an amazing few days at the Ticket Office and I’d like to thank everyone who has already bought their Season Card.
“Given how popular the deal has been, I’ve decided to freeze the prices and give a further 4,000 fans the chance to join the #WagnerRevolution. This makes sure anyone who has been caught off guard by the popularity of the deal doesn’t miss out!
“We’ll decide on the new prices in due course but once the 4,000 have gone, they’re gone.
“We’ve still got work to do this season, but 2016/17 already looks promising!”
