Advisory firm Ethien enters digital partnership with AI experts to automate legal work
Legal advisory firm Ethien has announced a partnership with artificial intelligence (AI) firm RAVN Systems.
The link-up between the two London-based businesses will see the legal and compliance services firm, which was established in 2015, utilise RAVN’s cognitive intelligence services to automatically read, interpret and summarise key data from legal documents.
Utilising cognitive computing solutions and AI, Ethien hopes to automate a number of time-consuming legal tasks, such as due diligence, to increase efficiency and speed.
RAVN’s AI data analysis and interpretation systems are already utilised by a number of legal clients, such as international firm Taylor Wessing and London’s MacFarlanes, as well as media giants Sky.
Andy Loach, Chief Executive Officer at Ethien, said: “In-house legal teams are focussed on delivering a better value and higher quality service to their businesses. They also expect their law firms to bring in new services and technologies which enable better, more cost effective ways of delivering legal work.
“RAVN will allow our clients to automate key aspects of very time-consuming and traditionally manual processes, such as due diligence projects. The benefits are huge, in time, cost and quality.”
Peter Wallqvist, Chief Executive Officer at RAVN Systems, added: “Ethien is a great addition to the RAVN partner network. They have deep experience within the legal sector and an excellent understanding of how automation can benefit both law firms and their in-house clients.
“I’m very excited about our partnership and looking forward to working with Ethien in the future.”
