dB Broadcast Becomes UK's Leading Broadcast SI
dB Broadcast is now the UK’s leading systems integrator (SI) following a strong period of growth, according to the company. In a period of rapid expansion, dB has recruited at various levels across the firm, becoming the country’s largest SI and boosting its ability to take on some of the industry’s biggest projects.
The latest recruitment round has included adding seven highly skilled permanent staff at several levels including Project Managers and Engineers, IT Engineers and Test personnel, as well as Logistics Executives. The new team has been recruited mainly from within the industry, bringing experience from companies such as Discovery and Snell Advanced Media (SAM).
dB Broadcast has a policy of employing its own staff rather than relying only on contractors, but the latest growth phase and a record order book has meant increasing its contractor complement to almost 50 contract wiring and engineering staff as well as the new permanent hires.
“We are undertaking several large projects currently, including projects that incorporate the latest developments in 4K and IP architecture, and our strong forward order book gives us the confidence to strengthen our team further”, says Tom Swan, Sales and Marketing Director of dB Broadcast. “New broadcast standards make it essential to keep up to date with the latest technology developments, and the new engineers bring with them valuable technical expertise gained at leading organisations.”
