Record year for Liverpool-based Sovini Trade Supplies
Sovini Trade Supplies (STS), an independent builders merchant based at Aintree Racecourse Retail & Business Park in Liverpool, saw its profit and turnover skyrocket in its last financial year.
STS managed to smash its projected £5m turnover by pulling in £5.9m during the 12-month period, in addition to increasing its annual profit from £215k to £500k.
As part of Sovini Group, a collection of commercial operations and not-for-profits, STS channels all capacity generated into its social housing partners in a bid to support their investment in new homes
Sovini Group partners include Sovini Property Services, Sovini Homes, One Vision Housing and Pine Court Housing Association.
Anita Harrison-Carroll, director of STS, said: “We have a great working culture at STS, our team are small but have an extensive skill set which has been the driving force behind our financial success.
“Every member of our team has contributed hugely to this fantastic achievement, and we aim to increase our turnover to £7.1m in 2016/17 as we win new business and develop existing relationships.”
She continued: “We have a large array of customers across the North West including W Carroll Group, JC Construction and North Liverpool Construction, and this list will continue to grow as we move into the next financial year.”
