Golden Hat-Trick for Preston Contractor
For the third consecutive year, Conlon Construction will be presented with a Gold Award at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2016.
The top accolade is reserved for firms with exemplar safety records and prevention measures.
Established in 1956, the RoSPA Awards are a highly-regarded and sought after achievement, recognising the commitment of organisations from in excess of 20 industry sectors to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work.
Michael Conlon, chairman at Conlon Construction, said: “To be awarded our third consecutive RoSPA Gold Award is a huge achievement that recognises our dedication to consistently maintaining high standards of health and safety across all of our projects.
“The health and safety of people working on our projects is paramount, so we ensure the relevant safeguards, rules and procedures are in place to keep everyone safe.”

Notes to editor: Conlon Construction Ltd was formed in 1961 by five Conlon Brothers. The company is today managed by a main Board of six, two of whom are second generation family members. In addition, one of the Board is female which fits in with the company ethos of ‘rethinking construction’, as it continues to ‘challenge the norm’ within the industry.
