Ziffit celebrates third birthday and 30% growth
Goring-based trade-in website Ziffit has today marked its third birthday with a bang - accepting its 7 millionth customer item and celebrating a 30% growth in annual* turnover. Ziffit is a free and easy to use website to sell unwanted books, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and games for cash.
Ziffit has expanded rapidly since launching its website and App in 2013. In addition to their 7 millionth trade-in item, the team has also welcomed its 44th employee, Sean Porter who joins as a Front End Developer. 2015 was a year of massive growth for the tech brand, with a 30% growth in turnover compared to 2014. Ziffit has also expanded its market reaching more than 175 countries worldwide.
To celebrate their anniversary, Ziffit is running a competition for its customers over the next two weeks (ending Sunday 5 June), with a trio of prizes up for grabs. Launching on Tuesday 24 May the competition will run via Ziffit’s Twitter account. Applicants wishing to enter will need to post a selfie with the weirdest item found on their bookshelf, CD or DVD rack, with the hashtag #LookWhatIFound.
The three winners will each receive a ‘movie night in’ hamper, consisting of two ‘Slankets’, two movie cups, two plastic popcorn holders, a selection of sweet treats and one £20 Amazon voucher.
Paul Treanor, eCommerce director at Ziffit said: “By offering great customer service and a competitive price for second hand books, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and games, Ziffit has ensured steady growth since we set up three years ago. We have a very loyal customer base, with customers often returning to the website to shift their latest stash of items and make a bit of extra cash.
“We even have customers get in touch to say the service has helped them save for those once-in-a-lifetime events like going to university, taking the trip of a lifetime or saving for a wedding.
“But this birthday isn’t a chance for us to rest on our laurels, we have big plans for the coming years and want to continue to grow and to establish ourselves as a household name,” Treanor added.
Ziffit is a quick and easy to use website to sell used books, CDs, DVDs and games for cash. Customers can also exchange their pre-loved items via Ziffit’s app.
