RF Code Appoints Bob Ridout to Board
RF Code has appointed Bob Ridout, former VP and CIO of DuPont, to its board of directors. As CIO of DuPont, Bob led one of the industry’s largest ever SAP programs, an initiative that included hundreds of global sites and business departments.
“We welcome Bob Ridout to RF Code’s Board of Directors with great enthusiasm. We believe Bob’s extensive experience within the technology industry, his technical knowledge and his strategic insight will be a valuable addition to our company,” said Ed Healy, CEO at RF Code.
Bob is currently an advisor with Salesforce.com, where he advises enterprise customers on how to successfully integrate cloud based applications into existing business operations. He is also a member of Insight Venture Partners’ Advisory Board.
He served on the boards of directors of Christiana Care Health System, Cordys (now an Open Text company), and Gravitant (now an IBM company). Bob’s other executive positions at DuPont were in IT, field sales, manufacturing and customer service. He has served on the customer boards for Microsoft, HP, AT&T, Lotus and IBM.
“RF Code has a particularly innovative approach to data centre management and monitoring. Having the capability to continuously monitor sensitive environments and to track assets through their entire lifecycle is an invaluable tool for businesses, especially as the need to ensure operational continuity becomes increasingly critical. I’m looking forward to bringing a CIO’s perspective to the board in addition to insight from the customer’s viewpoint,” said Bob.
RF Code’s CenterScape Cloud, part of the company’s asset management and environmental monitoring solution, provides organisations with real-time insight, control and predictability over operational risks, costs and compliance in the data centre. Benefits include accurate asset auditing, automated inventory management, optimised capacity planning and highly granular environmental monitoring.
