Regal Homes gets green light to develop £13.2m St John’s Wood residential scheme
London-based SME property developer Regal Homes has been given the green light to develop a ten storey, 49 unit residential scheme on Lodge Road in St John’s Wood.
Acquired for £13.2m at the beginning of last year, the building sits just two minutes’ walk from both Lord’s Cricket Ground and Regent’s Park.
‘The Compton’ will include 15 one-bedroom apartments, 28 two-bedroom apartments and six, three-bedroom apartments, three of which are penthouses complete with private roof terraces.
Regal Homes’ other schemes currently include The Residence in West Hampstead, Royal Quay in Limehouse and St Pancras Place and Kings’ Cross Quarter in King’s Cross.
Work on The Compton will commence in Q2 of 2016 and first completions are scheduled for Q3 2018.
Simon De Friend, Co-Founder, Regal Homes, said: “The Compton will deliver a collection of high quality homes in an excellent London location that is currently undergoing vast investment. “Each apartment will bear the hallmarks of quality that our buyers have come to expect, while the overall scheme will offer the innovative architecture that Regal Homes is famous for.
“Extensive time and planning has gone into the striking design of The Compton, which will become a landmark building for the area and will no doubt have an inherent appeal to cricket fans far and wide, thanks to its proximity to Lord’s Cricket Ground.”
