Leeds’ 24 Seven to ‘Jump’ connectivity with new Sony partnership
Leeds-based 24 Seven Communications Ltd has announced a new partnership with Sony.
24 Seven’s roaming SIM, Jump, which can switch between the UK’s three biggest mobile networks, will be natively compatible with Sony’s brand new Xperia X and Xperia XA devices.
Announced earlier this year, the new partnership sees the national roaming specialist align with Sony to provide compatibility for all existing Z series device owners, and the Sony Xperia E5 released earlier this week.
The new partnership enables 24 Seven and Sony to help businesses enhance their mobile strategy by connecting Sony’s premium specification devices to Jump’s national roaming network.
David Samuel, managing director and founder of 24 Seven, said: “This is a fantastic step forward for our business, and I am thrilled that Sony has recognised the benefits of Jump for British businesses.
“We’ve established purpose and place for 24 Seven in a competitive marketplace, and this unique partnership highlights the extensive advantages of our offer.
“Thousands of our customers are now better equipped with tools that help them to do better than the competition. Mobile coverage has long been an emotive issue, and developing our offering in this way means we can continue to offer industry-leading prices, service and connectivity.”
Warren Saunders, head of Sony Mobile, UK & Ireland, added: “We are pleased to be working with 24 Seven in a partnership that offers the best connectivity on our best models. Our new devices have a battery life of up to two days, along with other advanced technologies that enable users to manage their business on the move.
“Matching the Jump SIM with our high quality products means we can offer a truly compelling premium telephony solution to business customers.”
Launched in 2015, Jump works by jumping to the next available network when the signal drops. 24 Seven is set to launch 4G later this year.
