Exhibition success prompts plans for further events

A recent business exhibition hosted at Wetherby Racecourse by Boston Spa-based IT providers, Deans Computer Services (DCS), has proved so successful that a series of similar events is being planned at venues across the region.

Featuring 24 exhibitors presenting a wide range of products and services, from manufacturing software to ecommerce, the Spring Showcase took place in April and attracted an outstanding turnout which has encouraged DCS to expand the event’s reach to other parts of Yorkshire in 2016 and 2017. The exhibition provided a forum for networking and information gathering with the chance to gain insights on topics such as cyber security and data encryption.

DCS managing director, Patrick Clayton, said: “Our exhibitors travelled from all over the country to showcase their latest products and software. We received a lot of compliments from visitors about the benefits they gained from in-depth discussions about applications which can enhance and improve business efficiency. The event also featured a range of new products which are part of the DCS portfolio, including WebShop from Aphix Software, Sage 200 Extra online software, DESlock data encryption, digital signage from Signagelive, ERP from Intact and business finance and payroll from Pegasus Opera.”

“We welcomed all kinds of visitors, from start-ups to SMEs and a number of national names. We received particularly positive feedback from companies in the manufacturing sector. There is clearly an appetite for this type of event within Yorkshire’s business community and DCS are currently in the process of identifying suitable venues for further Showcase events. We will announce details in the near future.”
