Manchester City unveil refurb plan for Stadium CityStore
Manchester City FC have closed their official store based at the Etihad Stadium as the site prepares to undergo a major overhaul.
The shop is being given a summer makeover during the next five weeks, in time for the 2016/17 season.
Having closed its doors over the weekend (June 12), when it opens the CityStore will have an updated layout to make the shopping experience easier for MCFC fans .
While the work is carried out, City’s Market Street store will remain fully operational, as will the club’s online store.
The announcement of the refurb project follows news earlier this month that City have signed a new deal with GIF search engine Giphy, potentially strengthening their digital presence and giving supporters more options when it comes to interacting with the club via its social channels.
MCFC have also taken on a new partner, signing a multi-year deal Australian wine brand Wolf Blass.
