Aeromexico takes off sixth weekly flight from Heathrow to Mexico City

Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, is set to launch a sixth weekly seasonal flight from London Heathrow Airport to Mexico City, from June through October this year.

This new flight aims to address the high demand for business and leisure travel services between the two capital cities during the summer season.

Aeromexico operates the route using its Boeing 787 Dreamliner with 243 seats, including 32 seats in Clase Premier, Aeromexico’s Business Class Cabin.

The benefits of this cabin include 180-degree flatbed seats, extra legroom, increased storage capacity for carry-on bags, bigger windows, individual touchscreens featuring 20 movies and 36 TV series, and Sky Interiors LED lighting in the main cabin.

Aeromexico’s London to Mexico City service offers British travelers connections to 46 destinations the carrier serves in Mexico, such as Cancún, Cozumel, Guadalajara, Los Cabos, Mérida, Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, Querétaro, Veracruz, and Villahermosa, among others.

The service also offers access to more than 30 international destinations including Bogotá, Buenos Aires, the Dominican Republic, Havana, Los Angeles, New York, Sao Paulo, and Vancouver, and many other destinations.

Jorge Goytortua, Aeromexico’s senior vp global sales, said: “The London-Mexico City route started since 2013, and it is very important for Aeromexico because it favors air travel connections between the two capital cities.

“The sixth weekly flight seeks to meet the high demand for business and leisure travel services during the summer season”.
