Serial traveller and business owner honoured with TWO of tourism’s key industry awards
Luxury Leeds-based travel boutique owner, Tanya Haigh recently received a major travel industry award and a further award shortlisting, just weeks after unveiling her first high street store.
The Luxury Travel Lounge owner and Managing Director, Tanya Haigh learnt last month that she had been shortlisted in this year’s Agent Achievement Awards in the Aspire Agent of the Year category.
Organised by Travel Weekly, the awards seek to celebrate the country’s most dedicated travel agents at a glittering awards ceremony in London on 13th July 2016.
This news follows a recent award win with the prestigious travel operator, Insight Vacations. Named as Luxury Gold Agent for the North of England, Tanya was granted £1,500 to spend on the company’s marketing budget and a Luxury Gold Tour of France and Guernsey.
Commenting on the award win and award shortlisting, owner Tanya Haigh stated, ‘We are thrilled to have been recognised for our hard work and dedication over the last few weeks. The award win and shortlisting is a real testament to the commitment of the team and we look forward to further successes in the future.’
The Luxury Travel Lounge, based in Horsforth, comprises of well known travel agency JNT Destinations and an exclusive, members only club, World Class Escapes.
The popular travel boutique caters to a wide range of clientele, offering bespoke travel packages from corporate travel and premium holidays to honeymoons, city breaks, cruises, tours and gap year experiences.
Owner and Managing Director, Tanya Haigh is a serial traveler herself, having visited 7 continents, 64 countries and 170 destinations worldwide. Tanya prides herself on operating a travel business based primarily on personal experiences rather than a brochure.
After experiencing considerable success with her office based travel business, Tanya took the decision to open her first physical store, The Luxury Travel Lounge, in February this year.
