Actavo Building Solutions makes two new appointments
The UK’s fastest-growing offsite build specialist, Actavo | Building Solutions, has appointed Matthew Jeeves as site manager and Joao Ferreria (JT) as contracts manager in order to deliver projects to specific specifications, on budget and on time.
A seasoned site manager, in his previous position, Matthew was responsible for overseeing substantial contracts. He also served for 18 years as senior commander in HM forces constructing bridges and demolishing buildings and responsible for all aspects of his team’s health and safety.
Matthew has extensive knowledge of health and safety procedures with over 21 years’ experience in the construction industry, partnering with sub-contractors and ensuring all on site activities are carried out within the correct frameworks.
JT joins the company from Tecnisan II – a construction company based in Portugal – where he began his career as assistant site engineer. Responsible for delivering luxury villas and apartments in Quinta do Lago, Algarve, JT worked his way up to contracts manager before moving to the UK to join Actavo | Building Solutions.
Matthew and JT’s appointments are just two of many for Actavo as it continues to expand its reach across a range of sectors. Matt Goff, UK operations director at Actavo | Building Solutions, explains: “Offsite construction is growing in popularity because it’s fast and cost-effective. Both Matthew and JT know how to deliver on a tender’s promises and brings a depth of experience in complex and innovative builds.
“As the education and health sectors reap the benefits of modular construction, we need to ensure we continue to deliver excellence time after time. Matthew will ensure our rigorous health and safety policies and procedures remain strong and consistent as we grow as well as running all day-to-day site works.”
Actavo | Building Solutions was earlier this year named fastest-growing modular building company in the UK for the third consecutive year, according to a report by Plimsoll Analysis.
