BAE Systems to sell off 186,000 sq ft Crewe development site
A 22.27-acre site close to Junction 16 of the M6 motorway in Crewe has come to market.
The Manchester-based industrial and logistics team of commercial real estate firm CBRE is inviting bids for the development, known as Radway Green, until this Friday (July 15).
The company was instructed to sell the site, which comprises 185,512 sq ft of warehouse space, by multinational aerospace and defence giant BAE Systems.
The senior director of industrial agency at CBRE’s Manchester office, Paul Cook, said he believes the site represents a “unique opportunity” for potential buyers.
He commented: “This is a unique opportunity to acquire a well-located and extensive oven-ready development site in close proximity to the M6 motorway.
“Opportunities such as this close to the M6 corridor are in high demand and as such, we anticipate high levels of interest in this freehold opportunity.”
