Stockport’s APH Computers acquires Sussex IT firm
APH Computers, the Stockport-based provider of IT services, has acquired Sussex firm Complete Business Systems (CBS).
The deal has created a 25-strong team across two offices, with a collective customer base extending across the UK that includes food supplier Kiril Mischeff, auto parts firm British Motor Heritage and train maintenance company Arriva TrainCare.
Established in 1986, APH provides the SAP Business One enterprise resource planning software for SMEs.
Horsham-based CBS, also a SAP Business One partner, has a 25-year history in the IT industry.
APH director Charlie Heywood said of the transaction: “We’re delighted to be expanding our team with the acquisition of CBS, who share our vision for helping SMEs grow and succeed through world-class ERP software and the right implementation methodology.
“The acquisition represents an exciting new chapter in our story as a family business, and we’re looking forward to bringing our unique solution to more companies in the south-east and across the UK.”
CBS’ managing director, Keith Gale, commented: “We’ve always taken pride in our ability to offer a complete solution to our customers.
“With this acquisition, they’ll benefit from an even greater resource pool and more extensive SAP Business One expertise than ever before.”
