Success for Be Wiser Ducati team at Thruxton
Staff from Andover-based Be Wiser Insurance had a double reason to celebrate at the weekend when the Be Wiser Ducati British Superbike team wowed crowds at Thruxton.
Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne won the opening race at the Hampshire circuit and team mate Glenn Irwin scored his first podium place of the season in the second race of the MCE British Superbike Championship.
“It was great to see the team at what is effectively our home circuit,’’ said marketing director Andrew Dunkerley. “The team has had a great start to the season with Byrne leading the championship and it was great to see the Be Wiser Owl playing such a prominent role close to our head office.”
Action moves to Kent next month for the next round of the championship.
