Everton FC gamble on latest official signing
Everton FC have announced a two-year deal with national bookmaker William Hill.
The agreement, which makes the firm EFC’s Official European Betting Partner, will see Everton and William Hill offer exclusive odds on a range of markets for all Premier League and cup games, as well as exclusive competitions and other promotions.
Spanning the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons, the deal will likewise see William Hill engaging Toffees fans across the UK and Europe, with its branding to feature on LED screens and interview backdrops at Goodison Park.
Everton’s head of commercial, Alan McTavish, said: “We are pleased to name one of the world’s leading betting and gaming companies, William Hill, as our new official betting partner and look forward to a successful association between both parties.
“Ahead of an exciting new season we look forward to working together with William Hill, a company that prides itself on innovation, history and heritage just like Everton, and developing a long-term partnership that covers the traditional betting and the emerging interactive markets.”
William Hill’s chief marketing officer, Alex O’Shaughnessy, commented: “Everton are one of the most iconic clubs in Britain and it’s great to be joining the Blues at this exciting point in their history.
“We can’t wait to start working with the club and we look forward to offering the millions of Evertonians a fun and innovative betting service across all of retail and digital channels.”
