Lancashire healthcare recruitment firm New Life to unlock growth with Boost support

A healthcare recruitment firm in Lancashire has created seven new jobs since launching earlier this year and now plans to unlock further growth in the coming months.

Whalley-based New Life Healthcare Recruitment was established in January with support from the Growth Mentoring programme offered by Boost Business Lancashire, which forms part of the the Lancashire Business Growth Hub led by the county council and Lancashire LEP.

The company’s managing director, Zoe Hall, said New Life is reaping the benefits of a marketing plan put together with support from Boost’s Anne Williamson of Lucrative Marketing.

Zoe, who has worked in recruitment for close to 20 years, said: “The results are really starting to show, we have a structured approach to our social media marketing and we have adapted our ongoing marketing campaigns following the advice we received.

“The business has already attracted new corporate customers as a result of these methods.”

She added: “The turnover of the business will undoubtedly be positively impacted by the strategy we have implemented.”

New Life recruits healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses and care workers for private sector organisations in the UK, sourcing overseas candidates from Spain, Italy, Romania, the UAE, India, Pakistan and elsewhere.

Jaydee Davis, operations manager at Community and Business Partners, which co-runs the Growth Mentoring programme with business mentoring firm Orvia, said: “New Life is an example of a business which has really benefited from being mentored by somebody with expert knowledge.

“Our mentor spent time within the business, understanding what was working and what needed developing to help it grow and together with Zoe and the team plans were put in place which has ultimately helped this new firm grow and help it reach its potential.”

Jaydee continued: “Two more members of staff are due to start in September, bringing the headcount, including Zoe, to 10, which is excellent and we’re confident this growth will continue.”
