The Dry Cleaner App to unite 1000 businesses by 2017
Award-winning company The Dry Cleaner App continues to evolve with the launch of a brand new website booking system to accompany their mobile app.
The Dry Cleaner App was launched in March 2015. It provides a simple solution to laundry and dry cleaning by connecting customers with local stores offering collection and delivery options.
The startup business, which is based in MediaCityUK, Manchester, covers 600 locations across the UK and expects a further 400 dry cleaning businesses to join the service by the end of the year.
Jonathan O Brien, CEO and Founder of The Dry Cleaner App, said: “The garment care market is becoming flooded with middle men or apps trying to be the next Uber for laundry. We remove the need for intermediaries and connect our customers directly to their local or nearest service; making dry cleaning a quick and simple process.
“We offer an easy to use service, that can now be accessed through the website as well as the mobile app, making it straightforward for new and existing customers to find the right service for their needs.”
Jonathan has been in the garment industry for over five years, running his very own dry cleaning business in Ireland. After spotting a gap in the market for mobile apps, The Dry Cleaner App was born.
He added: “There were many websites offering dry cleaning as a service, but nothing catered towards the mobile market and this is where The Dry Cleaner App stands out as a single app for the garment care industry.”
The services available via the app also include ironing, alterations and shoe repairs - offering a whole garment service to the consumer.
The app is available now on iOS and android devices.
