Big Yellow to the rescue
Labradors Ivy and Jazz chose International Assistance Dog Week (7-13 August) to say thank you to Big Yellow Storage which is providing free storage to Support Dogs.
The Sheffield charity is based at Brightside Lane but space is limited at its centre where it trains specialist assistance dogs to support people with disabilities, epilepsy and autism.
Big Yellow Storage is providing free storage at its Hillsborough centre for Support Dogs to store furniture, gazebos and event equipment.
Jack Dormer, manager at Big Yellow Storage, said: “It’s great to support a local charity – the work that Support Dogs does has such a positive impact on people’s lives. To date, as a company we have raised a total of £401,215 and donated more than 136,000 sq ft of storage space worth over £5,000 to charities.”
Support Dogs fundraising manager Danny Anderson said: “International Assistance Dog Week provides us with the perfect opportunity to say thank you to the team at Big Yellow Storage. We are limited for space at our centre and the free storage is a great help to us.”
