High school rugby team kicks of pre-season with new kit thanks to The Number Hub
South Wales- based accountancy firm, The Number Hub has pledged its support to Hawthorn Rugby team as part of ongoing expansion and growth within the business.
Following on from the opening of a second office in Cardiff, the Caerphilly company was able to offer sponsorship to the Pontypridd-based Hawthorn high school rugby team, ensuring the players have access to brand new kits ready for pre-season.
Marsha Ward, managing director of the Number Hub, says “We are pleased to be sponsoring the new rugby kit for Hawthorn high school. Engaging children to participate in sporting activities is key to developing teamwork, communication and social skills that they will take into adulthood.
“As a business that is growing, we are always looking for ways to give back to and support the local community which helps our business to develop.”
Speaking of the sponsorship, Jonothan Campbell, a PE teacher at the school and Hub Officer for the WRU, said “We are extremely grateful to the Number Hub and our other sponsors for kindly providing us with the funds for the school rugby kit.
“It is a great way to raise the profile of the game for both our boy’s and our girl’s teams, whilst at the same time promoting local businesses who support our school. We couldn’t be more pleased with the kits and we are proud to have them represent our school teams.”
Additional sponsorship for the team came from Footprint, Paul Fears Photography, Crystal Group and EMW and training.
Established in 2014, The Number Hub offers a range of accounting and business services to more than 150 businesses and start-ups. The accountancy firm has recently opened a second office in Cardiff and is growing the team to account for the expanding business.
