iVend Retail appoints Channel Sales Director
Leading omnichannel retail solution provider, iVend Retail (part of Citixsys), today announced the appointment of Rob Gentles as Channel Sales Director.
With over 20 years of leadership and consultancy experience in retail, specialising in sales and channel development, Rob is no stranger to growing and managing accounts of high scale, pace and complexity, having previously worked on projects with tier 1 retailers including WH Smith and Debenhams.
Prior to joining iVend Retail, Rob held senior sales positions at K3 Retail, G7 Computer Services and TRC Solutions. As Channel Sales Director at iVend Retail, Rob will be integral in the development of new and existing pan-European strategic alliances, in order to deliver a rich multi-market ecosystem of partners.
“Rob joins iVend Retail at an exciting time in our expansion – since launching in Europe in 2015, we’ve grown our European footprint and now have a presence in all key markets. Rob’s wealth of retail understanding and extensive technology experience will underpin and boost our efforts to rapidly grow our presence further through the channel,” said Richard Kolodynski, Senior Vice President of European Operations at iVend Retail.
“Our strategy has always been to build our team around experienced retail experts, in order to allow us to add tangible value to our partners and clients at every stage. As an advocate of retail technology and innovation, Rob comes with the dynamism and drive to build on our success as we look to broaden our strategic alliances further.”
