Manchester House chef to appear on BBC cooking show
Manchester chef Aiden Byrne has been chosen to appear in a new daily TV show for BBC One.
Aiden, who works at Spinningfields eatery Manchester House, will feature in Yes Chef – a new programme that will see 16 high-profile chefs mentor amateur home cooks to do battle in the kitchen.
Presented by soap actress Sheree Murphy, Yes Chef will see different chefs put home cooks through their paces in a series of culinary challenges.
The winner of each day will go forward to the final, when four professional chefs will pair up with their winning amateur to go head-to-head.
Pierre Koffmann, a three-star Michelin chef, will judge the final dishes.
Manchester House has been home to Aiden Byrne and his team since launching three years ago in conjunction with leisure operator Living Ventures.
Yes Chef episodes featuring Aiden Byrne will be shown on BBC One next Tuesday (September 13) and Friday (September 16).
