Terms agreed for 22,615 sq ft Quality Save store in Walkden
Property development and real estate management firm The Derwent Group has agreed terms with discount retail brand Quality Save on its new store in Walkden, Greater Manchester.
The 22,615 sq ft shop, located at Walkden Retail Park on Bolton Road, will open on a 15-year lease.
Quality Save is the latest retailer to secure a place in Walkden, with Poundland, Guess How Much and PCT Pharmacy all launching recently in the Salford borough.
Walkden Town Centre is already home to brands such as coffee company Costa, pharmacy chain Boots, fast food giant McDonalds and sports fashion firm JD Sports, among others.
James Maule-Ffinch, a senior asset manager with The Derwent Group, said: “Quality Save is the latest retailer to join our diverse tenant mix at Walkden.
“The retail park forms an important part of Walkden Town Centre, and so we are proactively seeking out new opportunities to extend the already strong retail and leisure offer available at Walkden.”
Property advisors CSP and Petch & Co are joint agents on the 160,000 sq ft Walkden Retail Park scheme.
