Warrington’s Certas Energy launches e-commerce site
Independent fuel and lubricant and distributor Certas Energy has given its online presence an overhaul with a new e-commerce website.
Offering customers the chance to purchase its products online for the first time, the Warrington-headquartered firm is confident its new online face will ensure “a much smoother customer journey”.
Certas Energy currently delivers more than 6bn litres of oil per annum through its network of 150 depots, over 1,000 tankers and 2,500 employees.
The launch of the transactional function coincides with the appointment of Angus Blundell in the role of marketing director.
Angus, who has joined Certas Energy from global chemicals business Sun Chemical, said: “The launch of our new website is very exciting for Certas Energy and our customers.
“The transactional feature will mean a much smoother customer journey and will make ordering a much easier process for those customers wishing to purchase online.”
He added: “We aspire to be our customers’ fuel partner - offering helpful advice and industry leading customer service.”
Over the next five years, Angus will play a forward role in driving growth for Certas Energy.
