Inprova Group tees off for Foundation for Peace charity
Warrington-based Inprova Group supported the local Foundation for Peace charity golf day on 28th September.
Four teams from Inprova Group tee’d off at the Warrington Golf Club in support of the charity, which was set up to campaign for peace in the wake of the Warrington bombing in March 1993.
Wendy Parry, mother of 12-year old Tim Parry who was killed by the bomb, and a Founder of the organisation said: “all the funds raised from this event will be helping to keep the doors of the Peace Centre open so the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation can continue to work with UK victims of global terrorism, young people & communities around the Northwest.”
Paul Kennedy, Chief Executive of Inprova Group, said: “As a local business we were shaken by the Warrington bomb and are filled with admiration for the fantastic work that the Foundation for Peace does to show the world that violence is not the answer to conflict. We are delighted to support this event and to help the charity to continue its important peace mission.”
