Wigan-based Ainscough Industrial nabs £3.5m Hungarian contract
Engineering firm Ainscough Industrial Services has been awarded a multi-million pound contract in Hungary.
The £3.5m project will see the Wigan-based company install a fully automated canning production line for energy and soft drink producer HELL Group at its new aluminum beverage can factory in Szikszo.
The six-month contract will get underway next month.
HELL Group’s new manufacturing facility was part-funded by the Hungarian government and is expected to create 320 jobs by the end of 2019.
This project is the second of this type to be completed by Ainscough Industrial for canning giant Stolle Europe.
Last year, the company installed a similar canning line at a facility in Germany as part of a contract worth £4.5m
Ainscough Industrial Services’s chief executive, Matt Ainscough, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be able to continue and build upon our successful relationship with Stolle Europe and will once again being able showcase our capabilities with this multi-disciplined scope of works.”
Earlier this year, Ainscough Industrial posted a record high turnover of £42m.
