Boodle Hatfield LLP invests in innovative HR software
One of London’s most renowned law firms has recently invested in Cascade as their new HR system to be used across the firm.
Established in 1722, Boodle Hatfield LLP acts for wealthy individuals, families, property owners and businesses, throughout the UK and overseas.
The chosen solution comprises core HR functionality as well as Cascade’s self-service, workflow, Outlook integration, training and recruitment modules. The main driver for this change has been to improve access to personal information for self-service users, and for greater reporting functionality.
Commenting on the driver for the change, HR Director Katie Kirkhope explained: “At Boodle Hatfield there is a clear focus on providing first-class legal services that help clients succeed in today’s challenging world. Key to this is our ongoing recruitment, development and retention of professional, approachable and commercially-astute lawyers. A robust and forward-thinking HR team lies at the heart of this. We need the tools to appoint and support the best candidates, whilst thinking strategically as the firm evolves and the ability to provide analytical HR data to support strategic thinking”.
“We began fresh marketplace research and were keen to find a system that provided us with quick, easy-access reporting and a good self-service experience”.
Following a six month programme of planning, data migration, implementation, roll out and user training, Cascade is now being used by staff and Partners.
Katie added: “With Cascade, we’ll have an engaging, easy-to-use system at our fingertips, with intuitive functionality which produces detailed, value-adding reports in only a few clicks.”
Offering some concluding thoughts about the project, Cascade’s client services director Heather Vitty said: “Whilst our software is suitable for virtually any private or third sector organisation, we have a very pronounced presence in the world of law. I’m delighted that we now have another legal client – especially one of such pedigree – to add to our list.”
Cascade is part of IRIS Human Capital Management, one of the UK’s largest providers of people-critical business software, with nearly 40,000 customers and over 300 employees.
