Lord Sugar partners with former Apprentice winner for entrepreneurs event
Apprentice host Lord Sugar has partnered with a former protege for a new event aimed at imparting his half a century’s worth of business experience to startups, entrepreneurs and business owners.
The event taking place at the Museum of London on Thursday 3 November entitled ‘An Evening with Lord Sugar: How to be successful in business’, is being hosted by former Apprentice winner Mark Wright’s digital marketing agency Climb Online.
Touching upon topics to support budding entrepreneurs and startups, the event will also feature talkings from the Managing Director of Imagine Cruising, Robin Deller, Chairman and Chief Executive of Be Wiser Insurance, Mark Bower-Dyke, and a representative from the Princes Trust.
Wright, who will be hosting the evening, explained that recent statistics showing that at least half of UK startups fail within the first five years, had underlined the need for greater education amongst the country’s entrepreneurs.
He said: “Since launching Climb Online in partnership with Lord Sugar in January 2015 we have experienced accelerated growth, whilst supporting hundreds of UK SMEs and Business Owners with the same level of success through digital marketing.
“This, of course, would not have been possible without Lord Sugar’s guidance, mentorship and advice – and so in sharing this experience we hope to help other aspiring businesses grow and develop.”
