DV8 Designs unzips design for YKK (U.K) Ltd.
Warrington based firm DV8 Designs was appointed to creatively redesign existing office space for YKK (U.K) Ltd
The architectural and interior design team, headed by Managing Director Lee Birchall, has refreshed the manufacturing company’s existing office space.
Lee said: “We were approached by YKK (U.K) Ltd. who are based in Preston Brook, near Runcorn, a member of the worldwide renowned YKK Fastening Products Group with more than 50 years’ experience, to undertake the redesign of existing office space.
“We wanted to create an outcome that was appealing and comfortable for both potential and existing clients. The end result provides a stimulating invitation to clients to browse the company’s vast range of fastening products, together with a new meeting room and coffee station. It certainly adds interest and dimension to the main entrance.“
Located in Birchwood Park, Warrington, DV8 Designs delivers a range of projects including commercial and domestic developments. The firm has attained high acclaim through its impressive and diverse portfolio that includes residential, bars, pubs, restaurants, hotels, leisure centres, swimming pools, spas, golf clubs and offices.
Lee added: “For this project, our design inspirations were drawn from bigger corporate office spaces as we wanted to use design to motivate team members through easy layouts and bold strident colour schemes whilst still incorporating some of the companies branding colour of blue. To enable flexibility for the company, we added some novel aspects including individually moveable display cases in the showroom.“
Paul T. Byrne Managing Director of YKK (U.K) Ltd commented: “The team and I are thrilled that DV8 Designs has worked its magic on the most prominent client facing space within our offices – now called The Meeting Place. This refreshing space now reflects the modern, innovative and exciting operations of the YKK Group.“
