Rossendale's Arthouse UK Champion at European Business Awards
Arthouse, a Rossendale-based home décor designer and supplier, have been announced as a National Champion in European Business Awards. The designer of trend-led products to the interior market will be one of the UK representatives at the continent-wide awards for 2016/17.
Covering 33 countries, the European Business Awards provides a showcase for the most innovative, successful and ethical businesses in Europe and this year engaged with over 32,000 organisations, which were whittled down to a shortlist of just several hundred. These National Champions will undergo further rounds of judging, including a public vote, with an overall winner to be announced in the grand finale next Spring. Previous UK winners include WykeFarms and The Cambridge Satchel Company.
Arthouse, which is backed by Private Equity company North Edge Capital, is one of the country’s leading suppliers of interior décor solutions and is supplies to leading homeware retailers. Designing wall coverings, wall art, cushions, mirrors and more, each collection begins at the company’s in-house design studio. The studio itself is based within Rossendale’s beautiful St. Jame’s Church, and employees deal with clients from across the globe.
The company’s achievement comes on the back off an exceptional 18 months, with Arthouse moving into the international export market.
Anita Kenyon, Arthouse Managing Director, says: “It’s a real honour to be recognised by the European Business Awards! Our key focus has always been to design affordable, lasting and beautiful products that tap into – and exceed - consumer desires, so to achieve this acknowledgement feels fantastic! Roll on the next round of judging!”
