GA Pet Food Partners expands in second-biggest North West letting deal of 2016
Dry pet food manufacturer GA Pet Food Partners is expanding its operations at Revolution Park in Chorley.
Peel Logistics, part of investment giant Peel Group, secured the letting with funding partner British Airways Pension Fund for the newly completed speculative development.
The deal is the second-biggest letting to complete in the North West so far this year.
Benefiting from its prominent position on Buckshaw Avenue, the 185,191 sq ft Revolution Park building is composed of 171,417 sq ft of warehousing space and a further 12,500 sq ft of offices.
GA Pet Food Partners, one of the biggest pet food companies in Europe, already has a 200,000 sq ft distribution centre at Revolution Park in addition to a manufacturing facility in nearby Bretherton.
Family-owned GA’s new space will offer the business greater scope for expansion in the future.
Peel Logistics’ chief exec, Jeremy Greenland, said: “We’re pleased to have completed and let the final building at Revolution Park to GA Pet Food Partners.
“The deal justifies our decision to speculatively construct the unit and demonstrates our continued confidence in the prime North West shed market.”
Peel Logistics was represented on the deal by property services firms JLL, DTRE, Littler & Co and Moriarty & Co.
