Leeds Chamber of Commerce completes city centre office move
Leeds Chamber of Commerce has completed a move to new premises on St Paul’s Street, in the city centre.
The Chamber has moved into a 2,220 sq ft space on the fifth floor of Carlton Tower on a new five year lease that was brokered by commercial property agents, Carter Towler.
The property, which is owned and managed by St Bride’s Managers, is now fully let.
Philip Shopland-Reed, senior surveyor at Carter Towler, said: “Carlton Tower will be an excellent new home for the Chamber of Commerce.
“It’s in a great, central location and the building has recently been significantly revamped, with the reception, common parts, lift and fifth floor suite all being fully refurbished.”
Andrew Robertson, Leeds Chamber of Commerce’s property director, commented: “We are highly delighted with our new premises; they are very smart and favourable for providing the quality professional services we offer to local businesses.
“We help businesses to thrive and grow and it’s important that we have the right environment to do that in.”
Ruth Shann, the Chamber’s head of operations, added: “Our new office enables us to service all our members from one convenient Leeds location.”
Ian Houston, St Bride’s Managers’ partner, concluded: “Leeds Chamber does great work with the local business community and we are extremely pleased to have them as tenants.
“The market for premises like Carlton Tower remains buoyant, evidenced by us also attracting two other new tenants within the last twelve months and agreeing lease renewals with a number of existing tenants including Gent Visick, Bagel Nash and DX Network Services.
“We are keen to invest further in other similarly high-quality office, retail and industrial premises in Leeds.”
